BIRD FLU KILLS 100 PEOPLE IN ASIA

The deadly strain of the bird flu, that already has claimed nearly 100 lives in Asia has migrated into parts of Europe, Austallia, Africa and the Middle East. The disease is highly infectious in birds but does not, so far spread easily between humans. The fear is it could soon mutate into a form that can. http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2006/bird.flu/As many as 142 million people around the world could die if bird flu turns into a "worst case" influenza pandemic, according to a sobering new study of its possible consequences.

1) How much money can japan's economy lose if this appidemic occurs?

2)Over 1000 birds have been killed already and 100 humans have died in asia, africa and parts of europe. what do you think would happen if this flu spreads to our country? how would you feel about it?

This blog was very good. I did not realise that so many people suffered from bird flu. This blog had very nice word choise and descriptive detail such as where the flu was going.

1) They would probably lose a lot of money because of people trying to get a cure for the flu.

2) I would be very scared because from what i have heard was it can kill humans, also the vaccine is a lot of money to help u from the flu.

1. Japan's economy can lose $4.4 trillion, which can whip out Japanese economy.

2.If the flu came over to the United States i think we would have more people dieing by the bird flu, and the population will go down. It would be sad if alot of people had died because of a little bird.
