To kill a Mocking Bird

1) Why did Dill tell so much lie's. Was it to impress Jem and Scout?

1) Why did Scout treat Dill like her "boyfriend" if she thought of him as a buddy and he excluded her from him and Jem's activities?

I think Dill told lies because he was insecure and wanted to feel like he was important.
Connect this to life: Can you think of anyone who "exaggerates" to draw attention to themselves? (This is called a rhetorical question, meaning you don't actually answer it, you just think about it.)
I'll leave the second question to someone else.
